Start with the shell. The secret to the ShapeShift is the shell design, which fully wraps the trigger guard. This has allowed them to slim down the backer in all dimensions without compromising fit, retention or comfort in any way. The shell can adjusted for cant, and retention is completely customizable with the Adjustable Retention Unit installed. Dial in the draw you want.

The holster backer has been streamlined, but has the features Alien Gear is known for. The backer is our improved Cool Vent neoprene, which is perforated to let your skin breathe and moisture-wicking for improved comfort. The ballistic nylon and spring steel core give the holster a firm but flexible spine and ensure a long service life. The improved Alien Skin surface helps hold the pistol but doesn't impact the finish at all.

The belt clips can also be adjusted for ride height and cant, and without the use of tools.
